Preparing for Mission Service
Are you ready to go on Mission?
Using our skills to help others in need is a very exciting prospect!
Read ahead to learn about some things to consider before committing to being on a mission team.
Am I Ready To Join A Mission Team?
Discernment
Prayerfully consider God's Will for your participation on a mission trip. As you pray for guidance, ask others to pray for you, as well as the team you will join and the communities where you will serve.
Preparing Mentally
and Spiritually
Once you have decided to commit to a team, continue to pray and take time to study scripture. These are ways to prepare your heart for the work you will do out in the mission field.
Our ultimate goal is to share the love of Christ with those we are serving.
Gathering Documents and Other Necessities
If you are joining an international trip, you will be required to have a passport with at least 6 months left on it before it expires, all depending on the country we are traveling to.
We will inform you about any required visas and recommended vaccinations needed.
Cultural Considerations
Learn about the culture and customs of the people and country where you will be traveling to. This will help you better understand the population you will be serving.
We will also provide guidance on this subject and other tidbits to consider while traveling abroad.

Raising Funds For Your Trip
We encourage all our participants to raise funds for their mission trip. This allows others to be a part of the team. Not everyone is meant to physically go on mission, but others can be a part by supporting your trip prayerfully and financially.
Raising funds is something you can start as soon as you are committed to serving on mission!
During our meetings we will also provide tools to help you be successful in raising funds for your trip.
